Soy Daniella Querol, artista visual mexicana afincada en Cataluña.
Desde siempre he dedicado mi práctica al arte visual, explorando y entrelazando diversas técnicas, disciplinas y materiales como un lenguaje propio.
Me reconozco como parte inseparable de la naturaleza; no la concibo como algo externo, sino como el origen y el contexto de todo lo que soy y creo. Desde esa conciencia nace también mi compromiso activista: una forma de defender la vida, sus derechos y sus equilibrios, creando imágenes que dialogan con el territorio y lo honran. Creo profundamente que es posible crear belleza sin destruir, y que el arte puede ser una herramienta de cuidado y transformación.
Trabajo transfiriendo las formas, texturas y colores del entorno a los textiles, estableciendo una conexión íntima entre el paisaje, la materia y quien observa. Confío en que estas obras inviten a una mirada más atenta y respetuosa, y a una valoración más profunda de todo lo que nos rodea.

My name is Daniella Querol, a Mexican visual artist based in Catalonia.
From an early age, I have been dedicated to visual art, exploring and weaving together different techniques, disciplines, and materials as a personal language.
I understand myself as an inseparable part of nature; I do not see it as something external, but as the origin and context of everything I am and create. From this awareness, my activist commitment also emerges: a way of standing up for life, its rights, and its delicate balances through images that engage in dialogue with the land and honor it. I deeply believe that it is possible to create beauty without destruction, and that art can be a tool for care and transformation.
My work involves transferring the forms, textures, and colors of my surroundings onto textiles, establishing an intimate connection between landscape, material, and the viewer. I trust that these pieces invite a more attentive and respectful gaze, and encourage a deeper appreciation of everything that surrounds us.
